Hiroshima City Cinematographic and Audio-Visual Library
It is a municipal film archive which is specialized facility for Japanese classic film films, videos, and classic records. In the screening hall (100 seats), in addition to appreciations of Japanese and cultural films from its collection, there are also events and lectures for foreign films.
In addition, various events related to video and music are held, such as lectures, workshops, exhibitions related to film and music, and children's movie screenings.
You can enjoy audiovisual materials such as records, video cassettes, and CDs from the attached Central Library at the Central Library's viewing seats.
* The Hiroshima City Visual Culture Library relocated and opened on April 1, 2026, at the 10th floor of Hiroshima Ekimae Yell Yell HIROSHIMA.
