Japanese Sago Palm (Singyouji Temple)
Located in Shingyō-ji Temple, this Japanese sago palm was exposed to the bombing at a distance of 1,880 meters from the hypocenter. Standing at 2.5 meters tall, 12 sago palms grew from one single stump. At the time of the bombing, the tree was located in the graveyard, but it has since been replanted in its current location.
