Camphor Tree (Misasa Shrine)
The camphor tree that stands inside the grounds of Misasa Shrine was exposed to the bombing at a distance of 1,850 meters from the hypocenter. It survived the bombing in the yard of a residential home and was replanted in its present location.This tree survived the 6 August 1945 A-bombing, approximately 1850m from the hypocenter and transplanted to the present location.
