Ginkgo Tree (Joseiji Temple)
This ginkgo, located at Jōsei-ji Temple, was exposed to the bombing at a distance of 1,420 meters from the hypocenter. When a new main temple hall was constructed, a new staircase was designed around the ginkgo tree to preserve it in its original location.
