Weeping Willow (Hiroshima Children's Museum)
East of the 5-Days Children's Museum, its branches gracefully outstretched, you will find a large weeping willow that was exposed to the bombing at a distance of 450 meters from the hypocenter. Before the war, the area was a military drill ground lined with many weeping willows, but currently, this is the only one left. It stands at a height of 8.0 meters with a trunk circumference of 2.00 meters.
